Trucking software used to be something that was nonexistent. Truckers would simply get in their truck and make deliveries. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore because truck drivers are often times cheating the company they work for out of hours. Therefore trucking software had to be implemented to track down the trucks and where they were going. Trucking software has become extremely complex but easy to use.
Purchasing Trucking Software
You need to take a good look at your company and determine whether or not your employees are following the rules. If your employees seem as though they do not make deliveries as fast as they should, yet you are paying them good money, this software is highly recommended. Trucking software can be installed on your computer, yet all of your trucks are monitored through GPS on your laptop. There is no way for any of your employees to get away with cheating your company. You need to determine if your company has a budget allowed for this type of purchase. Be sure you understand how important this software truly is. If you need to check into getting a fast payday loan in order to purchase the software, then that is a good idea.
Installing The Software On Your Trucks
Once you purchase the software you are going to need to take the time to have it installed. If you are Internet savvy and seem comfortable with installing computer software programs on your computer, then you should be able to do this installation. Make sure you read the owner’s manual prior to installing anything, just so you get an understanding of what is going to happen. Also make sure you have all of the trucks in your parking lot, so that you are able to attach all of the GPS devices to them. Once you have got this process done, you now will have a new freedom. You will know exactly where all of your trucks are at all times. If you ever have a doubt in one of your drivers, your software will be able to give you the answers you need.
Trucking software is highly recommended to almost any company that has trucks on the road. Not only does it track your trucks, but it also can give you an idea about your expenses as well when the trucks are on the road.

One of the best things about sleep is that you can do it almost anywhere that’s comfortable. Of course, if you decide to do something like stay with a friend or remodel part of your home, the places you can sleep can become more limited. Fortunately, there’s something you can do to help yourself be more comfortable.
Beds Take up Space
It’s true that beds take up space, but a folding bed takes up a lot less space. When you’re not using it, simply fold it up and move it out of the way. That way, you don’t have to have it out – and potentially in the way – all the time.
Expect the Unexpected
Also, consider what you might do when guests suddenly show up or that remodeling job takes longer than you thought. You need somewhere to sleep, and a folding bed is often the answer. They’re quick to set up, and they’re easy and convenient to move or pack away, making them great choices for surprises.
Overall, a folding bed can be pretty comfortable and very easy to use. That’s part of what makes them such a great choice for anyone who’s interested in having an extra bed on hand just in case.

Finding Time for Fitness
Truckers may have a mostly sedentary job, but that doesn’t mean that they cannot work to stay fit and active as well as healthy even when they are on the road. You don’t sit behind that wheel 24/7—even if you want to to—it’s still illegal. Of course you need your sleep and no one wants to deprive you of that. But you need to get up and out of that cab, on your feet and do something good for your body and mind.
Get Fit And Stay Fit
There is an exercise regime that has received not only a five out of five star rating but been recommended by 98% of its participants. It is the P90X Workout… Actually there’s more than one and it’s more of a way of life than one single workout. It’s a challenging work out, that’s for sure; but for those who are serious about getting into shape and staying there this is a great way to go about it. This regime concentrates not only on working your body to lose fat and build muscle but on getting your body healthy from the inside out. It shows you how to improve your diet; so that it is not so much of a ‘diet’ as most people think of the word, but simply a healthy way of eating every single day. That is what is meant by a healthy diet. Not something that you go on for two weeks and then give up once you’ve lost the weight that you wanted to lose; if indeed you lose it. It’s time to change things up. Fad diets don’t work.
Before You Get Your Body On A Healthy Regime
It’s incredible what we put in our bodies on a daily basis. But truck drivers in particular are guilty of ingesting scary amounts of fast food and greasy diner food. You can’t even imagine what that does to a body much less your digestive system. Our colons alone can hold toxins and past waste that, if you could see it, would not only sicken you but make your head spin. Before you start a healthy regime you might want to consider cleansing your body of all the nasty, near toxic chemicals that you have already subjected it to. That’s where the Shakeology Cleanse can come in. With one Shakeology shake a day, you will not only feel better but be healthier. Added benefits can be weight loss. Along with a fitness regime this shake a day can improve the health of your body, digestive system, musculature and mind.
Get your mind and body back into the shape that they should be. And while we’re on the subject of your mind keep in mind: nothing worth having is easy. You will have to work at this. You will need to want to do this every single day of your life. That is the only way to get fit, get healthy—and stay fit and healthy.

Once you’ve punched out and you’re done for the day what do you do with all those copious amounts of free time? As if…
Anyone Up For a Little Gambling?
How about heading out to the nearest casino and sitting in at a $5.00, $10.00 or higher table of blackjack? Not lucky at cards? No problem. Most casinos have more slot machines than card tables any ways. Of course there’s always dice and the roulette wheel if neither of those trips your trigger. The sounds, the sites; the coins dropping the lights flashing; the environment itself is enough to get anyone’s blood flowing. What a great chance at a little R and R after work.
Stop At That Casino Again And Find A New Home!
If your better half has uttered those words, possibly stopping at the casino on your way home is a bad idea tonight. But there’s good news. All the activities listed above can be enjoyed online in the privacy of your own home. You can play with your own money or you can play with make believe money; that’s probably up to your better half as well.
Some gambling sites even offer all the sounds and sights of a real casino, so it’s almost like being there. As if…
Lastly, if you play online casino games like blackjack, you would benefit by using blackjack psychology to improve your game and sustain through the highs and lows of the game. Also, understanding the psychology of the game will help you know when to increase blackjack bets.

Life can be rough if you’re a trucker. With long days on the road, alone and away from home the only way a trucker can stay connected with the outside world is via their cell phone but the average cell phone provider takes advantage of this and many truckers find themselves with huge cell phone bills at the end of the month.
Pre-Paid Cell Phones
Also known as “burn phones” pre-paid cell phones are a great way for any trucker to save money off their monthly cell phone costs because; a pre-paid phone doesn’t require a contract so the trucker will only pay for the minutes that they use.
SIM Only Cell Phone Plans
With a SIM only cell phone plan a trucker can keep their existing cell phone as long as it uses a SIM card this will save any trucker an immediate $150 dollars or more in cell phone costs. SIM only plans are also affordable because, they typically don’t require a long term contract and they have more affordable data usage rates as well too.
To find awesome SIM only deals every trucker should look online or contact a carrier in their area for the best SIM only plans.

Learning a profession frequently means going to some type of technical school or college. Going to some kind of technical school or college frequently means bad credit loans. Ideally, your future employer may be able to pay for your schooling under certain circumstances. If trucking is what you have decided upon as a career, or even as a temporary career, trucking school is something that will most likely be in your future. Who’s going to pay for it and which one should you choose?
First Things First
If trucking seems like something that you feel you would be extremely good at the very first step will be to obtain your CDL license. Some trucking companies promise high quality CDL license training but offer less than credible results. Training is not a business but a school and should operate as such. If a company offers a fast two week training period it’s often easier for anxious newcomers to take the bait. People looking to get into the trucking trade quickly must be careful not to fall for this ploy. Once you receive your CDL license you will be anxious to land a job. And this is another chance for shoddy trucking companies to take advantage. You’re new; you don’t have any experience, so you’re eager to take the first offer that comes along. Be careful because this can end up with a small paycheck even though you’re away from home for the very long periods of time and are required to bang out endless driving hours.
No Upfront Truck Driver Training Costs
There’s the ideal situation of which I spoke at the beginning of this article. There exists a company (or more) that assures you of no upfront costs for your CDL license training and that your training will take place at a high quality training facility. They also find a trucking company that will sponsor your upfront training costs and give you a job when you complete your training. For many ‘want to be truckers’, this means no loans for bad credit, no saving for months on end; no problem. For many, a career in trucking can mean life on the road with the feeling of freedom, a decent salary and job stability. All things that are hard to find in today’s economy and jobless situation.
A trucking career can mean driving a company truck or purchasing your own semi with which to pull other’s and loads. Should you choose the latter, the need for loans that you saved on schooling might come in handy for the purchase of your truck.

Unless you own your own trucking business the company for which you drive a truck should be paying for your insurance while on the road with their vehicle. If you are the owner however, shopping for insurance can be a little more involved.
Cargo, Liability (Third Party) And Extension Insurance
Some or all of these can be involved in trucking insurance. Shop around and call for cheap car insurance quotes before deciding upon which one will suit you best. Progressive, just as an example, has a number that you can call for quotes on commercial vehicle insurance. Prices for trucking insurance can be literally double the premiums for car insurance. Remember too that cheapest doesn’t necessarily mean best. Make a smart informed decision.
Talking To The Traffic Board
An insurance certificate will need to be provided to the board of highway traffic by operators. Vehicle registrations which are commercial and safety fitness certificates may be revoked if insurance is not renewed or has been canceled. So as you can see, it is important to stay on top of payments and any changes to your trucking insurance policy.
Insurance filing information can be obtained by calling 775-6672 or contacting the Board of Highway Traffic.
